What is the minimum order quantity (最小起订量) for custom design projects?

最小起订量 varies by product complexity. For standard clutch cover or flywheel OEM projects, 最小起订量 starts at 200 sets per SKU. For complete custom design projects from concept to production-ready tooling, 最小起订量 typically starts at 500 sets. 联系我们 to discuss your specific requirements and volume targets.

How long does a typical design and tooling project take?

A typical custom design project takes 60-120 days from initial spec confirmation to first article sample: concept design (15-30 days), tooling design and fabrication (30-60 days), sample production and validation (15-30 days). Complex DMF projects may require additional time for NVH and fatigue testing.

Can you provide PPAP documentation for automotive customers?

Yes. LikLukTech can provide full PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation packages including dimensional reports, material certificates, process flow diagrams, PFMEA, control plans, and first article inspection reports. AIAG PPAP Level 3 is standard; Level 4 or 5 available on request.

Do you accept custom specifications and drawings from customers?

Absolutely. We welcome customer-provided technical specifications, 2D drawings, 3D CAD models (STEP, IGES, CATIA, Pro/E), or reference samples. Our engineering team will review your specs, suggest optimizations for manufacturability, and confirm all parameters before tooling fabrication begins.

Can I get a sample before mass production?

Yes. Every custom design project includes first article sample (FAS) delivery for your validation. Sample lead time is typically 15-30 days after tooling completion. We can also provide pre-production samples for fitment testing at your facility. Shipping costs for samples are quoted separately.
